About the Book::
When Edy Phelps falls hard for her best friend, she knows nothing can come from it. Forget actual chemistry, or the fact that she cherishes his mother more than her own; centuries of tradition say that Hassan will grow up, marry the girl his parents pick, and forget his best friend: the dancer with the bursting smile. Except he can't. In a world erupting with possibilities for the boy with a body of steel and dreams of the NFL, everything seems promised while nothing at all is; when he's denied the girl he wants most.
Two hearts. Two families devoted through generations of friendship. Could Edy and Hassan really risk all that? And yet ... how could they not?

My Thoughts::

If you have ever read of any of Shewanda Pugh books, you already know that she is an author that packs a story full of excitement in just a few hundred pages and leave you wanting more. Well, she has done it again with Love Edy. The story is about two best friends that have known each other all their life but something has happened. Edy has fallen in love with her best friend Hassen. A man that has a family full of traditions, that he is excepted to do as well as up hold. Both Edy and Hassen has know about this tradition. Like marring a woman of his parents choosing. Even with Edy knowing about this tradition, it does not stop her from getting close to his mom, thinking of her more of a mom then her own. Edy is not the only one that has romance feelings in the story Hassen does too, for Edy. Yet, she does not have any idea. They are both in love with each other and they do not even know it. Will they let years of tradition keep them apart for the sake of their families or will they toss tradition a side and go on love? I am not going to tell you what happens but I am going to tell you that the story ends in a big cliffhanger and I looking forward to what happens in the next book!
